Tuition, Fees & Policies

Winter Tuition

In addition to your weekly classes, tuition includes a songbook and CD for you to use at home, online access to the songs and activities through the “Hello Everybody” app and the exclusive online Family Music Zone® , a family guide to understanding music development in children, and a family newsletter full of resources and music-making ideas.

10 Classes

First child new family $235 // returning family $225 // second child $160  

Third child and siblings under 8 months: Free

Price includes non-refundable registration fee ($20/new family, $10/returning family.) Full payment is due with registration. No space will be reserved until full payment is received. 


Early Bird registration is for returning families prior to the fall semester. Returning families may register for the class of their choice before registration opens to new families. Classes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority registration occurs between the fall to winter semester and the winter to spring semester. Families who register during this period for the same class day/time are guaranteed a space. Families wishing to change days/times are first-come, first-served, before registration opens to the general public. 


Moxie Moms members receive $25 off the first child's tuition for a 10 week, Mixed Age, Babies, or Rhythm Kids class (excluding registration and materials fees). Membership number & expiration date must be provided in order to receive the coupon code. The Moxie Moms discount is not available for summer semesters.


Financial assistance is available to qualifying families through the Music for Kids Scholarship Fund. Please email for more information.

Cancellations & Refunds

After the first week of classes, a $25 cancellation fee may apply, and refunds may not be issued.


Each family is allotted two make-ups per semester. Make-ups are not transferable between semesters. Please note that makeup seats become less available later in the semester. If you know you will be missing a class or two, it's best to schedule your make-ups as far in advance as possible. If you have more than one child participating in a makeup you can denote that in the comments section. Additional makeups are granted on a space-available basis. Please contact the office if you need more than two make-ups.

Please keep sick kids at home where they can get better.  If you bring a child to class who has "just gotten over" an illness please be conscientious & wash your & your child's hands before class & wipe all instruments that get wet with the alcohol wipes provided in each classroom. We follow a 24 hour fever-free and vomit-free policy. If you are unable to attend a class due to illness please click here to log on and schedule a makeup.


Unregistered siblings 6 years & under may attend class as a drop-in if space is available. The drop-in fee is $17/class. Siblings 7 years & older may drop-in free of charge. Siblings under 8 months attend free.

Snow Days

We follow BVSD for snow cancellations. Families affected by a snow day will be offered an extra makeup to use in another class during the semester. Please contact the office if this presents an issue for your family.

Payment Options

When you register for your class, you will have the opportunity to pay online. You can also access online payment via the Family Portal under "Make a Payment."
